Priceless Christmas

Since 'tis the season, I wanted to dedicate a post to the most happy and joyeous time of the year.
First things first how many times have you already heard, "OMG I can't believe it's christmas already, it came so fast!" To clarify, it didn't come around that fast, it took 365 days to be exact! And if it did feel like it snuck up on you too fast you might have been wasting the 365 day time gap on foolishness. Instead of enjoying the little moments the PRESENT has to offer, most of us are stressing about the non-exsistence of the future. Live in the present, it's the best gift life has given to us.

Secondly I hate the M word, MONEY. Yeah yeah I get it we need it in order to make a decent living, fine! That's great! But when money becomes an idol, and an obsession I start to have a problem with it. So for those of you pulling out your hairs and cursing the day you ever gave birth to a girl turned diva, just stop. Instead of driving yourself insane, remind your children, your family and yourself that materials things are invaluable to you as a person. Giving into these temptations is the greatest form of your own suffering. So keep it simple, indulge once in awhile and enjoy the little things... They are priceless.

Lastly there are many other ways to enjoy the holidays without leaving bald patches on your head and using your wallet as a nest for those moth bugs. It seems like we have forgotten to enjoy the real world and we have resorted to the games and gadgets that take us to ulternate universe. Try to cut out the excess fat, be it your video games or cell phones, go for a walk or go skating. Do something else, I swear it's a lot more fun in the real world. We should all try it sometime. At least once. :D

This is what me and my Best Friends decided to do in order to enjoy the Christmas Holidays, we dressed up and took a picture with Mr. Santa Clause, than ate some good old fast food. I wish I could capture every moment that made me this happy. Lucky for me I have a photographic memory.

Merry Christmas!

Men...The model Monsters?

With regards to my 'Boredom Struggle', I have found a lot of time to explore and expand my knowledge. Everything you need to know is floating in cyber space from videos to articles. One article I read most recently on a website, "What men are really thinking about all the time...SEX! ". I chose that refernce (taken out of it's original context) purposely because I find it astounding how a little bit of research, degrees and diplomas crammed into a 500 word paragraph, can generally define an entire species. Not everything needs an explanation! Personally I like it that way sometimes, mysterious and sincere.
Let me give you a little background information on why i feel so strongly about these "factual articles"on men and how monsterous they are. I have not yet ranted and raved on the extraordianry man in my life, but he is present and has made my happiness a fairy tale fantasy. As corny as that sounds, he has taken the value of my life and raised it to priceless. I know him in ways a survey could never even begin to comprehend, which brings me to why I am so oposed to these articles:
 1) It is impossible to know and understand every man as individuals.
 2) Every single person in capable of growth and change.

  Last but not least
3)There is someone for everyone who believes & willing to let love in.

Final Thought: Maybe I sound like a niave teenager in love, who is lost in the glamour of love that t.v and movies portray. But you couldn't be more wrong. It is not a bed of roses everyday for me, it isn't easy to be in a relastionship but it easy to love. I am disappointed in the articles that convey a monster image of every man on earth. Those (men) who chose to do wrong know damn well know those choices will determine the life they lead down the road. Be wise and concious of the right and wrong... and take responsibilty for your "mistakes".

This blog is a tribute to my personal opinion and thoughts. It is a show-case for the free spirited and those of us who want to make a mark on the world but don't know where to start... It took me awhile to get up the courage to begin a blog where I can express myself through the art of writing. Some people may enjoy what they read and others might not even care to read past the title. These words are not being written to please anybody but myself. With all the chaos and stress we as human beings go through in a life-time, I thought it was vital for my sanity to indulge in a project that was sincerely and completely for me and my happiness, only. The greatest compensation is to feel satisfied in you and after every sentence I am in my element and am very pleased to see the fruits of my labor. Another thing we have forgotten to do is just sit back sometimes and have Faith in the paths that lead us to fulfilling lives.
Enjoy…

The boredom struggle

My current position at my job leaves me with much time to think &...That is exactly what I end up doing for the mass majority of my time. Although I am content with myself in knowing I am meeting the living standards in our society by working and earning money everyday, I am not fully satisfied. When I use the word satisfied it translates to me as happy, I am not happy. (Just with the work status the rest is pretty peachy).  I have a printed sheet of inspirational thoughts right beside my desk and one of the quotes read "If you don't like your job, quit." My responsible self knows that is an irrational and foolish decision, and wouldn't go to that extent. My more creative and sensitive self thinks otherwise. If all I want to do is wait for the clock to strike 5:00 P.M so I can run out of here like a teenager on the last day of school, why am I wasting so much time to only come alive and feel like myself and feel happy after work hours? Crazy what we'll give up for money :S

Serendipity- The Reason

I am introducing the concept of Serendipity for two reasons, the first reason being that I love learning new words and Serendipty's definition reads as 'having an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident.' The second reason is that my very existence on this site was provoked by that of a serendipty only a couple of days ago. I stumbled across a blog that was made up of this woman's life and her love of it. There was someone voicing her opinion and being free-spirited, It was a path I wanted to follow in. That was my serendipity, a desirable discovery I made by accident. Life's roads that lead us to great places are usually the roads we never expected to end up on.
